Spring flower pretzel bites should be stored in an airtight container at room temperature. They should last for at least 2 weeks. This makes them perfect for making ahead of time.

About the Ingredients for Flower Pretzel Bites

*Please note that the amounts listed in the recipe are not exact, but rather to give you an idea for how much of each ingredient you might need.

Waffle pretzels – I got mine at bulk barn, I bought about a pound and used about half as the rest were too broken to work with. It’s better to buy too many just because you will have to deal with broken pretzels.

Candy melts – A single bag of white candy melts was enough for the amount I made.

M&M’s – Pastel milk chocolate M&M’s. You shouldn’t need a full 20 oz for project, but having too many isn’t as much of a problem as running out.

How to Make Flower Pretzel Bites

Yields: 20 Servings | Prep time: 25 Minutes | Cook time: 3 Minutes

Ingredients:

  • 16 oz (454 g) Waffle pretzels
  • 12 oz (340 g) White candy melts
  • 20 oz (660 g) Easter M&M’s

Directions:

Preheat oven to 225 degrees Fahrenheit, and line a sheet pan with parchment paper.

Place pretzels down on the parchment paper in rows.

Place a candy melt in the centre of each pretzel.

Warm in the oven for 3 minutes until just softened, not melted.

Work quickly to place an M&M, “M” side down, in the centre of each pretzel, with 6 M&M’s of another colour surrounding it. You will need to gently press each one down.

When the candy melts get too stiff to work with, remove completed flowers from the sheet pan to a wire rack to finish cooling. Then place the sheet pan back in the oven for 1-2 minutes or until the candy melts are just softened enough to continue.

Allow to cool completely then serve immediately or store in an air-tight container at room temperature.
